Social responsibility

What is social responsibility - It is managing yourself and acting like a model student which means helping people and being fair in whatever you can.

What level of social responsibility was I and why - I think I was a level 2 because I didn't really encourage people but I did follow instructions that the teacher gave but I think I can work on a lot of stuff to get to where I need to b

To improve next lesson - I will start encouraging people and helping them with anything they ask as well as being a nice and kind person.

Chocolate cake

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup of Cocoa
- 2 cups of Flour
- 1 cup of Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 a cup of Oil


Steps
Step 1. Combine all the ingredients in a cooking bowl

Step 2. Mix well

Step 3. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes

My first exam experience

My first exam experience was very nerve racking but I powered through and I managed to finish
in the end. During the exams I was distracted by many different things. Some of the things I was
distracted by was people tapping with their pens and people sniffing due to having runny noses,
little stuff like that. Even though I was distracted I answered the test to the best I could.
After the exam I celebrated by getting McDonald's to eat, in my meal was a burger, fries and coca cola.  
In my next exam I will prepare in advance, study and do whatever makes me calm and focused.

Mrs C Gren

Mrs C Gren is an acronym for what makes things alive for example they have to be able to breath and grow or consume food but one way or another they have to have Mrs C Gren. That is what I learned in science thanks for reading.

Auckland Eruption

When I woke up in the morning I heard a giant rumbling sound so I walked outside to investigate what was happening. When I stepped outside I saw black smoke and the faces of frightened people then I noticed where they were looking I turned around to see a giant newly formed volcano this was caused by the hot spot beneath New Zealand.

What causes the hot spot is the outer core underneath the earths crust it heats up the mantle and that causes a thermal plume. I was so scared I had goosebumps all over my body, the ginormous volcano was spewing out red hot lava,steam and ash that could make you choke.

I tried to run for help but to no avail then before I knew it I died - or so it seemed! I woke up in the emergency department in the Auckland hospital; many people there were either injured or dead. Just then I saw my family arrive and walk around my bed take a seat and then pray for me to get better after 2 years I made a full recovery and since my family were over seas when the volcano erupted they were fine as well. The end.

The main purpose of Nathan and Oscar’s trip was to find out their ancestry.

Some of the interesting discoveries that they came across on their journey were in Rarotonga,Taiwan,Samoa,Aotearoa and Vanuatu. In those countries they meet many different people and also many different ancestors.


Evidence that supports the theory that Polynesians originated from Asia include similar artwork and ancestors

 From my point of view, I think that their journey was successful because they found out evidence from where their origin was and how they got to NZ so in other words they completed their task.

Sandwich expirement

Today we experimented on sandwiches and how tectonic plates move underneath the ground it showed that some plates do different types of movements like spreading apart and some even ram into each other it was really interesting. I really found it fun and informing to me.

Hello and welcome to the colours of the earth cake

the brown part is the oceanic crust and continental crust

the green part is the mantle which is like super hot playdough

the orange part is the outer core which is like liquid but the inner core is different from the outer core because it is hard like rock and it is hotter than the outside of the sun!.

The cake that we got to eat was also really good it was the best cake I had in a while
